The calculator uses a versioned dataset with source references, estimate labels and a documented method. Inspect an appliance’s references, replace typical values with exact specifications, and see how changing loads affects your result.

Our research program

Our team has established industry contacts and plans to expand manufacturer and model coverage. Future model evaluations and practical tests will be published with their scope, equipment, conditions and findings as that work is completed. Planned coverage does not expand the scope of the current dataset.

Accountability

We distinguish calculation checks from physical equipment testing. A calculator result does not certify an installation or guarantee model compatibility. We welcome documented corrections and publish changes through reviewed dataset releases.
